Quality Metalcraft Inc. Engages Hunt Roman Group in Latest HR Support Agreement

Hunt Roman Group signs HR agreement with QMC effective July 11, 2016.

July 11, 2016 – Hunt Roman Group is proud to announce their engagement in a Human Resources Support Agreement with Quality Metalcraft, Inc. (QMC) effective July 11, 2016. HRG will be the senior HR presence in the company and will function as QMC’s Interim Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). HRG will be assessing the current state of HR related processes and procedures and make recommendations for new Human Capital initiatives during their time with the manufacturing company. Members of HRG Leadership Team will serve as the HR functional lead during the engagement coaching the existing Human Resources staff and working closely with the QMC Executive Team.


Quality Metalcraft, Inc. is a leading producer of engineered structural metal components and assemblies. Based in Livonia, MI, QMC has been in business since 1964 serving the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries focusing primarily on prototypes, production, and factory assist. It currently employs approximately 600 people and is the manufacturer of the Chevy Volt underbody, the Chevy Camaro ZL1 hood, and the Cadillac CTS coupe underbody. In July of 2015 QMC became one of the portfolio companies of the Boston-based private equity firm, the Watermill Group. This portfolio also includes Tenere, The Plastics Group, Inc., and the C&M Corporation.
